I spent all my years taking it all in
Fighting a lot but always from within

no shame, there was no blame
I had my faith, learned from my mistakes
I got the (my) skills and started to make music
Made sure not to over think it and just do it
It is what it is and it's all good
Did what I did and I did what I could, thats my Foundation

Each one of us has the funk, the soul
Each one of us a world, a plan, a role
We're each a link in a chain
We all shared in the joy and pain
We all matter We all have a purpose
we all count, stick together and no one will hurt us
All religions and races and faces unite
jew and non-jew alike
use the power to win the fight
We all have someone or need someone
to tell us that we can be someone
We have the gift of life, The power of youth
The love of Gd, The kiss of truth
